THE BLOOR WEST VILLAGE PLAYERS
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
took place on
Sunday, 28th September 2025 at 7p.m.
Everyone is invited, and we especially welcome people who might be interested in joining the group. You can hear how the 2024/2025 season went, find out what new ideas we have. You can also take the opportunity to find out more about us and how you can get involved (or more involved), renew some friendships, and enjoy some light refreshments. Membership remains free; we just need your blood, sweat, enthusiasm and laughter!
This year, we have several important items to vote on, including ratifying a new By-Law (which would replace our existing Constitution), and saving money on an audit. See the links below for the important documents this year.
Only active members of The Village Players — those who volunteered in any capacity on a production mounted in the 2024/2025 season, or who volunteered during the season in a non-production capacity (e.g. committee member) — may vote.
If you intend to vote, and we hope you do, please check the ‘Voter List’ linked below. If you believe there is an error, please contact us prior to the AGM. Our ability to rectify errors on the day will be limited!
We will also be electing or acclaiming the Board of Directors for 2025/2026. If you wish to stand for the Board of Directors, Nomination Forms must be received by Sunday, September 14, 2025. See the Notice of Elections document below.
Please talk to a Board Member if interested, or if you are looking for someone to nominate you.
NOTE: There will be NO nominations from the floor at the AGM.
Questions are welcomed. We always try to answer them.
