As we do not know when we will be able to reopen, we cannot offer the subscriptions which you typically purchase, and which normally cover most of our fixed costs for a season.
As long as social distancing is necessary, we will only be able to seat about 40 patrons for each performance when we reopen; we are considering adding performances to our regular calendar to accommodate as many patrons as possible, which will increase production costs. There will also be infrastructure updates required throughout the theatre to accommodate new best safety practices for live performances, and extra supplies and time needed for cleaning. We anticipate reduced income and additional expenses for the immediate future, and for an unknown amount of time.
Theatre does not exist without an audience, which makes you the most vital part of our community. Without you there would be no Village Players.

Replacement cost for lost or misplaced tickets is $2 per ticket.
All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Senior subscriptions are valid Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday performances only.
Seniors may upgrade to a Friday or Saturday performance for $2 per ticket.
How to Order a Subscription

Print the blank form provided below [or this one: 2019-20 website print-out subscription form] and complete it following the instructions printed on it. Mail the completed form, with cheque enclosed, to the theatre at the address provided on the form.
A subscription consists of a strip of 5 (or 4 or 3) tickets with dates as shown in the horizontal line in the chart to the right. To order, simply pick a preferred series code (eg: 2SA) and enter it onto the form. Alternative dates for individual shows many not be selected when ordering, but dates may be changed later.
Subscriptions will be processed starting mid-July 2019 and mailed to you, using the self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) you provide. If there is no SASE, your tickets will be held for pick-up at your first performance.
After September 1, 2019, do not mail your subscription form and payment. Simply call to make a ‘reservation’ for the first performance. Bring both payment and a completed form with you when you first attend the new season.
To Change a Performance Date
Subscribers may change the date they wish to attend, for no fee [subject to senior’s note above], by simply contacting us at 416-767-7702. We will accommodate the change, provided seating is available. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required. Tickets may not be transferred from one show to another.
