Carol McLennan as Marjorie
Carol is delighted to be back performing at the Village Playhouse. She appeared in The Winslow Boy in 2007 and The Heiress in 2008, and in numerous productions since at other theatres in Toronto. It has been such a pleasure to work with Maureen, Julian, Erin and Ted in bringing you this fascinating play. Enjoy!
Julian Lee as Walter
Julian is a Toronto actor and musician who fell in love with acting when his high school English teacher lent him a volume of Pinter plays. Julian went on to study Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University, relishing each chance he got to perform. Village Players’ audiences may remember Julian as Drew in last year’s Mending Fences.
Erin Mackie as Tess
Erin returned to acting this year in Calendar Girls (Oshawa Little Theatre) and is thrilled to be in this show. In her twenties, she stage-managed productions throughout Canada, and more recently has been active with Alumnae Theatre (Treasurer, CyberReads). Erin volunteers with Heritage Toronto and works with CBC News Studios. Next project: dancing in Heroes & Villains (The Pink Studio).
Ted Powers as Jon
Graduated from the Circle in The Square Professional Workshop in New York. Last NYC credit: JP Morgan Saves the Nation (En Garde Arts) by Jonathan Larson of Rent. GTA credits: Love Letters (Blackhorse Village Players), A Christmas Carol (SCP), Something Rotten (Over the Footlight Productions) and the 2023 Toronto Fringe musical The Man With The Golden Heart – Chaos & Light Productions.
