Rob has performed in many Village shows, most recently in Love Letters, Late Company, and Moonlight & Magnolias. Elsewhere, he has worked with Toronto Irish Players: The Seafarer, and Brownbread; Alumnae Theatre: Female of the Species, August Osage County, and The Importance of Being Earnest; East Side Players: The Wild Guys; and Scarborough Guild: Opening Night.

   It’s been almost 30 years since Alma last appeared in a Village Players production. Her previous credits include Kitty in Charley’s Aunt (94/95 season) and Des-Neiges in Les Belles Soeurs (93/94 season). She’s thrilled to finally return to the Village Players’ stage with the remarkable cast and crew of The Book of Will!

Arleigh Curran as Alice Heminges  / Susanna Shakespeare  

Award-winning funny lady, Arleigh is very excited to be on the Village Playhouse stage and loves The Book of Will team. Favourite roles: Katya (Gibson & Sons), Brooke Ashton  as Vicki Noises Off, both with Milton Players. She is a Capricorn with 100 house plants and 2 orange cats. Xoxo

Gavin Magrath as Henry Condell  

Gavin is happy to be back at the Village Playhouse, where he previously appeared as Tony in Silver Dagger. Other recent credits include The 39 Steps at The Curtain Club, and The Seafarer with the Toronto Irish Players. Gavin was an actor as a child but disappointed his parents by becoming a lawyer.

Kerri is excited to be part of Village Players for the first time! You may have seen her in Scarborough Players Arms & The Man (Catharine Petkoff), Jaybird Productions Cabaret (Fraulein Kost), or SMT’s The Music Man, The King and I (King Simon of Legree), and Forum (Panacea). Kerri wants to thank Paul for his love and support.

David Borwick as Richard Burbage / William Jaggard   

David is delighted to return to the Village Playhouse, after having appeared in The Fighting Days and The Prisoner of Second Avenue last season. Special shout out to Theresa Arnaud and her costume team for their extraordinary creativity and dedication bringing the 17th Century to the Village stage, making us all look so very Shakespearian.

Jerry Logan as Ralph Crane/ Barman /Compositor / Francisco  

Now making his Toronto stage debut, Jerry has been honing his craft for over ten years on eastern Ontario stages, tackling characters as diverse as John Astor in Scotland Road, Joel Cairo in The Maltese Falcon, and Grimgrab the Ogre in Puss N’ Boots – The Panto. He hopes you enjoy The Book of Will.

Rob has acted with act2studioWORKS, Haven Theatre, Spotlight Theatre and The Village Players, including The Fantasticks, Arsenic and Old Lace, and A School for Scandal, most recently in The Importance of Being Earnest and Social Security. He’s delighted to be on the Village stage again in this exciting production (even though he has to wear tights).

Sebastien Lee as Boy Hamlet / Marcus / Crier / Bernardo 

 A student at the Etobicoke School of the Arts, Sebastien is making his community theatre acting debut in The Book of Will. He has previously worked with the Village Players as a lighting operator for The Impossibility of Now and The 39 Steps, and as an assistant stage manager for Gloria’s Guy.

Cameron Mitchell as Isaac Jaggard / Ed Knight

Cameron is excited to be a part of The Book of Will. This is his first production with the Village Players. Returning to the stage after a long absence, Cameron appeared in the past in productions of The Desperate Hours, Oz! and Pride and Prejudice with Theatre Aurora.
