Mr. Aaron Marcus as Lane/Merriman
Aaron last appeared at Village Playhouse as Wilf Bond in Quartet. His butler acting career includes the roles of Barrymore in The Hound of the Baskervilles, Jellaby in Arcadia, Hawkins in The Kingfisher and now Lane & Merriman. He looks forward to future roles where he has a first name.

Mr. James Dolan as Algernon Moncrieff
This is James’ first time onstage with The Village Playhouse, though he has previously performed in zoom plays both for VP and Toronto Irish (The Shaughraun), as well as various aspects of film and television. James thanks his wonderful fiancé Jen for understanding that he won’t be home to cook dinner.

Mr. José Andrés Bordas as John Worthing, J P
Having performed as John Worthing at 15, José is thrilled to return to the role in his Village Players debut. Previous productions include: Bring It On: the Musical, A Zoo Story, and The Crucible. José thanks his friends and family for continuously supporting his dream of becoming an actor.

Mrs. Jane Hunter as Lady Bracknell
Playing Lady Bracknell, does one mimic Edith Evans’s immortal delivery of “A handbag?” or toss it away? Fifty years after her death, Dame Edith lives again . . . in that one line. Jane is forever in her debt, and the debt of everyone else who made this production such a happy experience.

Miss Brit Kennedy as Hon Gwendolen Fairfax

Miss Julie Kern as Cecily Cardew
Julie is overjoyed to once again be treading the boards of the Village Playhouse. Previous theatre credits include The Fighting Days, Twelfth Night, Tartuffe, Crimes of the Heart, Our Town, The Threepenny Opera. To my family and dearest friends, my upmost gratitude for your unwavering support and love.

Miss Heather Campbell as Miss Prism
Returning to the stage after a long hiatus, Heather is delighted to be part of our 50th Anniversary season. Other credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Crucible with Bolton Little Theatre, UK; and Bedroom Farce and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown with Blackhorse Village Players.

Mr. Rob Scavone as Rev. Canon Chasuble, D.D.
Since taking up acting in 2019, Rob has acted in productions (both Zoom and on stage) with act2studioWORKS, Haven Theatre, Spotlight Theatre, and The Village Players, including roles in The Fantasticks, Arsenic and Old Lace, A School for Scandal, Radical, and The Loud Fence.
