Informal Afternoon Forums about Theatre

Next Third Thursday Forum is just nine days from now!
Our October forum was very successful, with about 15 people participating. During introductions, it quickly was apparent that we have some very talented people with professional experience, as well as a general desire to make these sessions participatory.
After our coffee break featuring some excellent nibbles from local Bloor West Village provisioners, the group decided that our November 16, 2017 session will feature participatory performances of radio plays.
So we are looking forward to another fun afternoon.
There is still room for a few more attendees, but if you haven’t signed up, we ask you to let us know in advance if you wish to participate. Easy to do, just reply to this email!
Finally, to launch the forums, we’ve been emailing and distributing to a lot of people. After November 16, only subscribers to the Forum mailing list will receive these notices, so please click the link if you are interested. We are adding attendees from the signup sheet, but safest to subscribe.
The Village Players website and Facebook page will continue to have information and connections to this project, but we don’t want to be cluttering your inbox.

First notice, October, 2017:
The Village Players invite you to join us for a series of informal afternoon forums about theatre, especially your community village playhouse.
We will discuss a range of topics, with guest speakers and behind the scenes tours. Audience participation is encouraged. You will have an opportunity to chat with other attendees following each event. We hope to end the series with a dramatic reading.

Forums are at 1:30 pm on the third Thursday of the month, October to April, except December:

- February 15, 2018
- March 15, 2018
- April 19, 2018
Coffee, tea and light snacks will be served. We request a $5 donation to help cover the theatre’s expenses. Please send your RSVP to mike@mattos.ca or call 416-550-2683 by October 16 if you plan to attend the first session.
